Dr. Maggie McKeough was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Saint Francis Xavier University. She continued her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with magna cum laude in her Doctorate of Chiropractic designation.
Growing up, Maggie played a variety of sports, reaching competitive levels in Ringette and Volleyball. In 2015, she cycled across Canada to promote physical activity and healthy living to Canada’s youth as part of a non-for-profit organization, Unleash Your Potential. Health care and movement have always been her passion. Maggie’s goal is to help others of all ages, move often and move well, free from pain. She has completed additional training and certification in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis, functional movement screening and pregnancy related pain (Webster certified). Maggie’s treatment consists of soft tissue therapy, spinal and extremity joint manipulation and mobilization as well as functional movement screening and exercise prescription. When Maggie is not in the clinic you can find her running, hiking, golfing or cycling around Halifax and Cape Breton, in the gym or practicing yoga. |
